DESCRIPTION:PODER is excited to launch our lastest Urban Action Learning Academy: Working Together is Better – People\, Community\, Cooperation. Together with neighborhood leaders\, PODER is transforming our barrios\, reclaiming our local economies\, and creating thriving spaces filled with community-governed spaces.  We’ll reflect on our experiences under the status quo economy and explore the breadth of solidarity economy strategies to meet our basic needs.  We’ll create new models of community based decision-making and learn the skills and tools to take action and govern together.  Join us on Monday evenings\, beginning on June 22nd.
