On the local and national front, low income & working class peoples are under attack by divisive policies and budget cuts that threaten our survival. In San Francisco, the Board of Supervisors is considering a proposal supported by the Mayor to cut the amount of affordable housing that housing developers are required to include in new developments. Hidden behind this divisive proposal is a $60 million giveaway each year to developers. This is happening at the same time as the Trump Administration is advancing its own divisive policies with deep cuts to affordable housing and community programs. Join a long list of progressive forces in SF to say NO to these rollbacks and giveaways. We’ll meet at the Federal Building and then participate in a solidarity march to City Hall.
